La 17e édition des BET Hip Hop Awards s’est tenue le 4 octobre dernier. Les nominations ont été annoncées le 12 septembre 2022, Les prix ont été organisés par Fat Joe. Kendrick Lamar a remporté le plus de prix lors de la cérémonie, six prix au total : Lyriciste de l’année – Artiste Rap de l’année – Réalisateur vidéo de l’année – Performer de l’année – Clip de l’année (Family Ties) – Album de l’année.
